Terms of service
These terms cover the hosted PullPulse service reached through the Slack app and this site. They are written to be read once and understood, so they describe what the product actually does rather than every hypothetical.

1. What the service does
PullPulse connects a GitHub App to a Slack workspace. It receives pull request and check events from the repositories you select, scores each pull request for review effort, posts and maintains one Slack message per pull request in the channels you route to, sends reminders and digests, and answers questions about review state in Slack and over MCP. On the plans that include it, a language model writes a short brief and may adjust a risk score within a fixed bound.
2. Who may agree to this
Whoever installs PullPulse must be authorised to connect third-party applications to that Slack workspace and to install a GitHub App on those repositories. Installing binds the organisation, not the individual. If you are not authorised, do not install it.
3. What you permit us to do
- Read pull request, review, check and repository metadata for the repositories you select, using the GitHub App installation you create.
- Post, update and thread messages in the Slack channels the app is invited to, and send direct messages to members who have linked an identity.
- Send pull request titles, descriptions, file lists and diffs to the configured model provider for the features that need one. Diffs are sent, never stored.
You can withdraw any of this at any time by narrowing the GitHub installation, removing the app from a channel, or uninstalling.
4. Plans, trials and payment
- Every new workspace gets 14 days of every Team feature with no card. The trial needs no cancelling: at the end the workspace moves to the Free plan automatically.
- The Team plan is billed monthly per linked reviewer through Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page and exclude any tax we are required to collect.
- If a payment fails we keep your plan for 7 days while the card is retried. After that the workspace moves to Free.
- You may cancel at any time from the billing portal. The paid period runs to its end, then the workspace continues on the Free plan. We do not refund partial months, and we do not delete anything on cancellation.
- Enterprise is contractual: pricing, support commitments and any GitHub Enterprise Server or bring-your-own-key arrangement are agreed in writing.
5. Limits
Each plan caps repositories, linked reviewers, MCP tokens and monthly model calls. Limits are enforced when you cross them: the action is refused and told you why. We never silently bill overage, and we never quietly stop delivering messages you are entitled to — routing, reminders and digests are not metered on any plan.
6. What the model output is and is not
AI briefs and answers are advisory. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Risk scores are computed deterministically from repository signals and remain reproducible with no model involved; a model may move a score within a bounded range and must record why, but it can never set one. Nothing PullPulse produces is a code review, an approval, or a substitute for one. You remain responsible for what you merge.
7. Availability
We run PullPulse on Cloudflare's global network and aim to keep it available continuously, but the Free and trial plans carry no service level commitment. Availability commitments and support response times exist only where an Enterprise agreement states them. Current status is on the status endpoint.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to read, address or infer another workspace's data.
- Do not resell or white-label the service without a written agreement.
- Do not work around plan limits — including by minting tokens or installations for the purpose of splitting one team across workspaces.
- Do not use it to harass people, which a reminder system can be turned into.
We may suspend a workspace for non-payment or for abuse of the above, and will say which it was.
9. Ending it
Uninstalling the Slack app ends the agreement immediately. Uninstalling revokes the stored credentials on the spot, and PullPulse stops processing events for the workspace — queued events for a revoked workspace are dropped rather than delivered. 10. Changes
We will change the service, and occasionally these terms. Material changes are announced in the PullPulse app in Slack before they take effect, and this page always shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.
11. Warranties and liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
